What is the Novacura Flow Mobile Platform?
The Novacura Flow Mobile Platform is the easiest way to connect your business processes to your business systems. 1. Draw your process
Design your business processes in Flow Studio, our simple and powerful low-code platform. Flow Studio uses a graphic interface and drag-and-drop functionality to make it easy to design business processes from start to finish. Start with some of our pre-built workflows and modify them to your specifications, or make new workflows from scratch: the choice is up to you.
2. Connect to your business systems
Connect the workflow to your business system so that data is recorded where you want it to be—and available to use whenever and wherever you need it. Novacura Flow can handle almost any combination of tasks and variables. But best of all, Flow breaks down the silos between your business systems, helping you get the utmost value from all your IT investments.
3. Run through the Flow app
Once you’ve built and connected your workflow, it’s time to deploy in the Novacura Flow app. From there, they can run your workflows just like applications. We spend a lot of time and effort making sure the Novacura Flow app works on every device, in every environment—from the middle of the ocean to the middle of downtown. And best of all: if you need to make changes or updates to your workflows, you just make those changes in Flow Studio and deploy the new version of the app to all your connected devices. The process takes just a few minutes, and you can do it in-house: no hiring a mobile developer or waiting weeks for tech support.

Your data is secure with Novacura Flow
Your mobile apps need to work, but they also need to be secure. With Novacura Flow you get the support to create mobile applications that are as secure as you need them to be.
The mobile platform supports secure user management and secure data communication encryption. You can choose whether to use a third-party VPN tunnel for communication from the mobile client to the server, or a public web service with https communication.
The Flow Client is natively integrated with MobileIron. With this integration you can handle security in four different dimensions:
- Distribution of the Flow Client to mobile devices
- Secure, encrypted communication through an AppTunnel
- Containerization of data on the mobile client, for data-at-rest protection
- Authentication and configuration of user policies, including single-sign-on from the device
Novacura Flow also supports the use of MDM (mobile device management) software, where security is controlled by the MDM framework.
